About us
We are Diane and Herman, a Belgian couple who lost their hearts to Zakynthos.
Twenty years ago, we first came here on a motorcycle holiday, and since then, we
could never let go of the island. Every year we returned, until ten years ago we
decided to make our dream come true. We bought a beautiful half-hectare plot in the
mountains, overlooking the Ionian Sea. Over the years, we built this domain with our own hands. What started as a small house is now an oasis of tranquillity, with 3
charming guest accommodations and our own home.
Diane, with her warm personality and eye for design, has made each house unique.
Herman, once a technical teacher, designed and built everything together with local
craftsmen. Now, as retirees, we enjoy the Greek cuisine, the stunning view, and the
freedom that the island offers every day.
We look forward to sharing our little haven with you and hope you’ll feel just as at
home as we do!

Discover a unique studio, once a shelter for olive pickers, where the charm of the traditional building style has been preserved.
Panorama retreat
The name reflects the magnificent view of the bay and mountains, while the word Retreat emphasizes the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Room with a view
Our own living area has an upstairs large guest room with a spacious private terrace. This room is fully separated from our house, offers a beautiful sea view, and is accessible via an outdoor staircase.
